The Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Program provides vocational rehabilitation services to any American Indian with a disability living in Connecticut or Rhode Island.
The goal of the program is to assist tribal individuals with disabilities develop a career that reflects their skills and interests to prepare them for finding rewarding employment opportunities.

The Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Program’s Transitional Services are committed to assisting American Indian students with disabilities ages 14 to 21.
We work with students, their families and school personnel throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island to make the transition from school to adult life as smooth as possible.
Services While In School
Attend and participate in school transition planning meetings to assist the student with development of:
- Post-Secondary Education Preparation
- Independent Living Skills
- Community Participation
- Long-Term Employment Goals
