CT has the following programs to support lost or missing persons with disabilities:

  • CT’s Purple Alert Program - This program supports investigations for missing persons with intellectual, developmental, or cognitive disabilities. Functions similarly to the Silver Alert system but targets a broader range of vulnerabilities. Purple Alert Training Bulletin
  • Bring Me Back Home program is a statewide registry allows family members or guardians to register individuals with cognitive impairments, providing law enforcement with vital information to assist in locating them if they become lost or wander.
